Runes for Little Witches – Heidi Beckett

Heidi has kindly let me share this with you. The casting method would work well for a mass rune casting.
Use images and materials chosen by your child. Concepts like ‘man’ and ‘woman’ are fairly simple but things like ‘possessions’ and ‘family/clan’ might be harder to depict. Use symbols that your children are comfortable with and make a reference system for them. Make use of different colours to try and reinforce the meanings of the symbols.

The wheel has turned and Beltane is almost upon us. Look out for local events in your area such as celebrations at local, ancient sites such as Thornborough in North Yorkshire.
